Preis der Nationalgalerie 2015

The artists nominated in 2015—Christian Falsnaes, Florian Hecker, Anne Imhof and the collective Slavs and Tatars—presented their work in their own spaces, each very distinctly designed. The works they showed, more than other years, were decidedly across various media and genres. Striking among all four positions was an inclusion of the beholder by a specific, often performative spatial situation.
